Barry Industries is pleased to announce the renewal of their ISO9001:2000 Certification

Barry Industries, a manufacturer of RF and Microwave components has earned ISO 9001 registration to the new more rigorous 2000 standards from TÜV America Inc.

Barry Industries is pleased to announce ISO9001:2000 certification as a result of an audit by the renowned TÜV America organization. "Internal improvement, market positioning, supplier control, and customer or regulatory requirements are all sound reasons to seek quality system registration, and Barry Industries chose this path," says Richard Barry, President. "We are very pleased to have earned registration to the new 2000 standard, we are proud to be one of the first in our industry to achieve this prestigious recognition, I am very proud of every employee who worked to meet the requirements necessary for registration."

Barry Industries began the registration process in 2001. As part of the process, TÜV performed an on-site assessment, examination of documented procedures, and a survey of the company's overall operations. To determine continued compliance with ISO 9001, TÜV will periodically conduct routine surveillance audits of Barry’s operations. "Preparing for the registration process and earning registration have helped to improve the quality of our operations, increase our efficiency, and decrease the costs to manufacture our products," states Mike Gregory VP Manufacturing. "Accepted by more than 90 countries around the world as a quality assurance benchmark, Barry Industries ISO Registration has demonstrated its commitment to continuous process improvement," Added Mr.Gregory.

Barry Industries manufactures a range of RF and microwave components, and have passive components in Alumina, BeO and AlN, as well as circuit capability in Alumina and LTCC.
